The test certification for the electrical system is a document that certifies the conformity of the electrical systems of private homes and companies. This certificate is issued by the company that installs the system in a new building or that modifies it in existing buildings. The certification for the electrical system according to the law must be drawn up in triplicate and must comply with a series of parameters.
What is the certificate of conformity?
The certificate of conformity of electrical systems, also commonly called electrical test certification, guarantees compliance with the safety standards according to the law, concerning their installation both in private and corporate structures. It must be released by technicians who carry out the work, whatever the type of electrical system involved. It is also mandatory for automatic gates and doors, air conditioning and heating systems, sanitary systems, escalators, stairlifts and lifts, gas systems and fire prevention systems.
How does the issue of electrical system certification work?
The certification for the electrical system is compulsorily issued by the manager of the company that modifies or installs the system. It must include not only "compliance" in itself but also some mandatory attachments.
To prepare the document it is possible to use a standard model according to the law, which provides for the compilation of some data regarding the type of system, the credentials of the technician in charge of the installation, the data of the homeowner or of the company concerned, the location of the installed system, the materials used and the applicable regulations. It also includes a series of mandatory annexed documents: the project or the work plans, the registration of the company involved in the installation of the electrical system and the list of used materials.
The certificate of conformity of the electrical system must be drawn up in triplicate, one for the owner, one for the client. It is important that it is stamped and signed by both the company's legal representative and the technical manager.
The certificate of conformity is also mandatory in case of sale or rental of the property.
